New Agent Timeline for REALTOR® Membership.

New Agents must join the Association within 30 days of hanging their license with a Broker. In accordance with our Bylaws; "Designated" REALTOR® Members shall notify the Association of any individual licensed with the firm within thirty (30) days of the date of affiliation or severance of any individual.

Dues from the new Agent will be owed from the 31st day. (For example; If an Agent joins a Broker on November 1st and they come in in March to pay and join the Association, they will pay dues from December 1st, not when they join in March.)

 *One-time Application Fee.       Reinstated Member Fee is $100  - Note for REINSTATEMENTS: If applicant has not paid for prior year that they left, that year and the current year's dues will be collected. Applicant must verify any prior payments with NEXUS AOR or another REALTOR® Board when they join.

   New SECONDARY Member Application Fee is $25 (if applicable)

PLEASE NOTE: Each licensed agent must submit an application for REALTOR® membership and complete the new member orientation process, which includes the MANDATORY Orientation Class and REALTOR® Code of Ethics Training, in order to be approved as a REALTOR® member.

 

Membership dues shall be prorated for any licensee included on a certification form submitted to the association who during the same calendar year applies for REALTOR® membership in the association. However, membership dues shall not be prorated if the licensee held REALTOR® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® membership during the preceding calendar year.

 

REALTOR® (Defined as): An agent within an office of a Designated REALTOR® who holds an active real estate license and becomes a member of the Association.

SECONDARY REALTOR® (Defined as): A Designated REALTOR® or REALTOR® who holds membership in another local REALTOR® Association and has remitted state and national association dues through that Association.

Designated REALTOR® (Broker of Record)(defined as): Principal partner, corporate officer, or branch manager of a real estate or appraisal firm. There is only one Designated REALTOR® per company. The Designated REALTOR® is responsible for paying dues for all licensed agents within his or her firm. Annual Association membership dues for the Designated REALTOR® are calculated per licensed agent who is not a REALTOR® member (plus his/her personal dues) and includes an allocation for state and national association memberships. The Designated REALTOR® is responsible for paying the dues of REALTOR® members who do not fulfill their obligation by the final deadline. Each licensed agent must submit an application for REALTOR® membership and complete the new member orientation process in order to be approved as a REALTOR® member.
