BCCAR Young Professionals Network (YPN): Nationally recognized YPN who cultivate their forward thinking as their main form of marketing and communication. Community Outreach Committee: Dedicated to the dream of homeownership. Dedicated to enhancing the positive quality of individual, family and community life by raising funds and providing services such as clothing donations, household needs and community awareness in our counties. Cultural Diversity Committee: Promote equal opportunity housing and diversity within real estate. Create programming and events to enhance and educate membership awareness. Chair: Lola Grace, Vice-Chair: Anna Alves, Staff liaison: Maggie Kaplan.
Grievance Committee: Reviews formal ethics complaints and arbitration requests to determine if they are within the Association's scope of authority, as outlined in the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual. Chair: Mark McKenna, Vice-Chair: Theresa Krouse, Staff liaison: Maggie Kaplan.
Legislative Committee: Monitors and reviews municipal and state legislation, working closely with Associated Business Solutions (ABS) for compatibility with private property rights, and provides recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the stance it should take. Membership Committee: Determine member expectations and attempt to implement. Encourage broker and agent involvement in BCCAR committees and events. Make members aware of the importance of RPAC and education. Chair: Mary Deaux, Vice-Chair: Maria Giarratano, Staff liaison: Liz Peters.
Professional Standards Committee: Conduct hearings in accordance and compliance with the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual. Chair: Dave Lewis, Vice-Chair: Tony Balboni, Staff liaison: Maggie Kaplan.
REALTOR® Recognition Committee: Create criteria for REALTOR® of the Year, Rising Star, REALTOR® Spirit and Affiliate of the Year Awards. Process applications and choose a winner.
